Week 2

On my second run it was again spontaneous but this time I stretched a little and felt pretty good about the run mentally. I put my puma's on once again used the good old ipod (which is actually broken and doesn't play music anymore) and started off my run. After going about .5 miles again I felt like I was going to die, so I take a break with walking about 1/8 of a mile I would guess. While walking I thought "Shit, I must not be pacing myself very well here." Always running out of steam at nearly the same spot.

So when I started to run again, I slowed my pace down a bit and it seemed to working out pretty well for me. As I was running I had the spit in the mouth that taste like metal and was very thick. If you don't know what I'm talking about think of like maple syrup in your mouth but taste like a water fountain. After changing my pace, I finished the run in 14:12:613. From this point on I will be trying to run more than just weekly. I'm going to continue to keep running the same place (sidewalks) for now until I can plan out where to go for a track.

Start of the blog!

Well if you are reading this you obviously know that I'm from baseops.net and was flamed hard there for wanting to post my times on their forums. So I decided to make a blog for those who may want to keep track of my progress as I continue to help better myself for the upcoming challenges.

I'm going to go ahead and start by talking about the first week of running.
The first week I went for the 1.5 mile run it was pretty spontaneous and I honestly did not know what to expect. I laced up my puma's and then just started a stopwatch on my ipod and left it by the door and went for the run. About .5 miles in I felt like I was going to die so I started walking. I also had the side cramp which was killer. After I figure I walked about 1/4 of a mile on the first run and finally completed the run at 15:42:309.
